FAQ
Questions we hear often.
What is an internet leased line?
An internet leased line is a dedicated fibre connection between your premises and the provider’s network. The bandwidth is reserved for you alone (1:1), upload and download speeds are equal, and the service comes with static IPs and a service-level agreement.
How is a leased line different from broadband?
Broadband is shared between many customers, so the speed drops when the area is busy, and upload is usually much slower than download. A leased line is uncontended and symmetric, and it is covered by an uptime commitment and committed response times.
How long does it take to get a leased line installed?
For sites in our fibre footprint: feasibility within 24 hours, a site survey in 2–3 days, fibre laying and termination in 7–15 working days, and commissioning in 1 day. Sites outside the footprint get a quoted schedule after survey.
What uptime does NexaEdge commit to?
We commit to 99.8% uptime, with 100% packet and bandwidth delivery. The network is built as a ring with two paths to every site, and upstream capacity comes from three carriers: Tata Communications, Airtel and Jio.
What does a leased line cost?
The price depends on bandwidth, contract term and the fibre work needed to reach your premises. Share your site address and we will send a commercial proposal within 24 hours of the feasibility check.
