Managed WAN & Failover

Two links, one that is always up.

Primary and secondary links from two different backhauls, with automatic failover configured and monitored by our NOC.

Check feasibility at your site

What you get

Built for links that cannot go down.

Who it suits: Plants, hospitals, hotels and offices where even a short outage stops billing, dispatch or production.

Two different backhauls

Your primary and secondary links ride separate upstream carriers, so a single carrier problem cannot take both down.

Automatic failover

When the primary path fails, traffic moves to the secondary in the network, without a call to anyone.

Configured for you

We set up the routing and the failover on your router and test the switch-over with your IT team.

Monitored by our NOC

Both links are polled continuously. The AI flags drift in latency, packet loss, errors and power levels.

Getting connected

From enquiry to live link.

Timelines are typical for sites in our fibre footprint. Sites outside it get a quoted schedule after survey.

  1. Feasibility check within 24 hours

Share the site address. We confirm fibre availability and send a commercial proposal.

  2. Site survey 2–3 days

Our engineer visits, plans the fibre route and termination point, and agrees the rack and power requirements.

  3. Fibre laying & termination 7–15 working days

Last-mile fibre is laid, spliced and tested end to end against the ring.

  4. Commissioning 1 day

Router configured, bandwidth verified live with your IT team, CRM login handed over. The link is now under 24×7 monitoring.

FAQ

Questions we hear often.

What is internet failover?

Failover means your office has a second internet path that takes over automatically when the first one fails. With managed failover, the provider configures and monitors the switch-over for you.

Why two different backhauls?

If both links depend on the same upstream carrier, one fault can take down both. NexaEdge buys upstream capacity from Tata Communications, Airtel and Jio, so primary and secondary can ride different carriers.

Do I need to change my router?

Not always. Our engineer checks your existing router during the site survey and tells you whether it can handle automatic failover.
